Course Subjects
We will cover Chapters 1-6 of the lecture note.
- Ch.1: Mathematical Preliminaries
- Ch.2: Solutions of Nonlinear Equations
- Ch.3: Interpolation and Polynomial Approximation
- Ch.4: Numerical Differentiation and Integration
- Ch.5: Numerical Solution of Ordinary Differential Equations
- Ch.6: Gauss Elimination and Its Variants
- Ch.7: Approximation Theory (when time is available)
The class will also cover research topics.
The main theme of the class is interpolation.
We will deal with Surface Reconstruction for Point Cloud Data,
in detail in a research level.
If you have something else in your mind which can be shared with
your classmates, please let me know; I will organize projects in that
direction.
